In the Mood for Food

Our moods change as quickly as the weather and it’s amazing how they dictate our day and what we fancy eating. It is certainly worth taking care of our moods and pampering them with delicious food. This book will help you do exactly that. It is set out into what I consider six influential moods (Healthy, Naughty but Nice, Comfort, Lazy, Extravagant and Romantic) with each chapter packed full of straightforward, yet inspirational recipes.

The Nation’s Favourite Food

The nation voted for their favourite dishes, in various categories such as comfort food, breakfasts, dinner, afternoon tea and festive food. I had the fabulous job of writing the recipes for the book and accompanying BBC television series. There are plenty of modern twists on old favourites such as spaghetti Bolognese, strawberries and cream, roast beef with Yorkshire puddings and the full English plus straightforward recipes for some classics including crumpets, hot cross buns and Christmas pudding.
